The seasons are marked.
Winter is severe - it is the time of the year which has the
2000 mm of annual rainfall and the wind typically found in the
Andean Patagonia. Summer can be warm, mainly in January and
February, but do not forget that it gets chilly when the sun
sets. Here go some average temperatures for the Andean region
in North Patagonia: |

Bear in mind this
information as regards which clothes to pack, and add
antifreeze to the radiator if you come by car in winter. If
you cross to Chile, take into account that the temperature on
the other side of the mountain range is usually milder but it
rains more. This happens due to the mountain range, which
works as a natural barrier for the warm and wet atmospheric
currents from the Pacific nearby, apart from the logical
variations by changes of height above sea level. If you plan
to go climbing, remember that the temperature decreases 1
degree every 180 m in height.
